My Little Empire's 'Songs Of The Week' - 29th July

Babaganouj - Do Rite With Me Tonite

Australian four piece - Babaganouj - go hard on the boy/girl power pop with this single! A bouncy guitar and bass riff, ridiculously catchy lyrics and an air of young love wrapped up in 90s grunge all combine to make this one of the best tracks we've heard in 2016! - Adam

Okkervil River - The Industry

What Okkervil River have done over the span of their 18 year career is utterly astounding; releasing album after album of emotionally raw indie rock, led by the peerless storytelling of Will Sheff. Taken from the Austin quintet's forthcoming album 'Away', 'The Industry' analysis and mocks the state of the modern industry with characteristic charm and wit.  - Aled

Hiss Golden Messenger - Biloxi

If there's one thing we at My Little Empire are suckers for, it's a laid back southern drawl, a shimmery acoustic guitar and a melancholic tale delivered in a happy melody. Well this new track from Hiss Golden Messenger - the first from his upcoming album - ticks all our boxes, so of course we're in love already. - Adam

Barbarisms - Heaviest Breather

We've been big fans of Stockholm trio Barbarisms since we heard 'Backwards Falconer #2 a couple of years ago (which we included on our launch compilation) and their latest full length LP 'Browser' is another triumph. Full of oft-kilter guitar lines, jangling tamborine and Farone's reverbed vocals, 'Heaviest Breather' is a must listen. - Aled
